Rythmol initiation

1. Therapy should be initiated with RYTHMOL SR 225 mg BID (every 12 hours)
2. If additional therapeutic effect is needed, dosage may be increased after 5 days (minimum) to RYTHMOL SR 325 mg BID
3. If additional therapeutic effect is still needed, dosage may be increased after 5 more days to RYTHMOL SR 425 mg BID
4. Dose reductions should be considered for patients with hepatic impairment. Widening of QRS, 2nd or 3rd degree AVB
