Background

The electrophysiological basis of atrioventricular nodal re-entrant tachycardia (AVNRT) is considered to be due to dual atrioventricular (AV) nodal physiology resulting from functional dissociation of AV nodal conduction through fast and slow pathways (FP and SP) which have different refractory periods
